I met  Rob in Detroit back in '97 or 98'......
Vern's "comb material" seminar...
Glad to see you are "spreading the word" and STILL playing good  blues.
 
EVEN though Rob  a "White boy" LOL...
 
My former wife is a beautiful back woman, from the island of Grenada.
She was well educated, and at one time helped to run my "day job" business, 
 I was a CPA.
We had a printer who had never seen Natalie my wife, and they used to have  
LONG chats on the telephone about our printing and so on...
One day, the printer delivered some stationery in person, Natalie opened  
the door...
"Hello, can I see Mrs Walden" "Yes...".... No I want to see MRS WALDEN"  
"yes???"
He thought Mrs Walden must be Caucasian, and never phoned to offer his  
company's service again.
But she is a rather an attractive brown!
 
I have the family in sunny Trinidad and Tobago... They either call me  
"Uncle John", or "Uncle Whiteboy"...
That is how it is!
 
One of my great grand parents once owned a cane plantation, but that was  
200 years ago. 
 
Blues isn't about color. It's about MUSIC.
 
For three and a half years, at the beginning of this century,  I was a  
member of an African lead Church Gospel choir... 
 
One day I told the MD... A black man... born in England, of Youruba  
Nigerian parents, and as "English" as I am.... (As well as being a great bass  
player)...
 
I said:
 
"Andrew I HATE Racists"
 
Andrew replied:
 
"Don't worry John, Racists HATE you too".
 
Says it all really!
 
Several times PC folks have told  me :
 
Your "whiteboy" nick name is RACEIST... I say... 
 
Just look at my two BEAUTIFUL children!
