If you think Butterfield's life and work were about money, you are sadly mistaken. Butterfield had a lot of problems, but playing crap to get rich wasn't one of them.
I don't think anybody, anywhere, anytime has to apologize for playing the music they love, or loving the music they love, wherever it comes from or wherever they come from. As far as I'm concerned, the more love there is out there, the better.
