I think there can be several different reasons for using multiple amps, 
wet/dry, bassy/mid-hi, clean/ dirty, to spread sound, fullness, and 
showmanship. Any combination of those. I would hate to see us all agree that 
there was only one amp for all. I also think ego and showmanship are in SHOW 
business to stay. I just bought a Harpgear HG-35 to lighten my load, but I 
can still imagine playing through my Super reverbs (yes a pair) sometimes. 
Putting your sound in the hands of just any sound man isn't always advisable 
is it? JD
