Re: [Harp-L] Walter Horton
when I picked up my first harmonica and played it I sounded just like Walter, the hand movements and the sound was sweet, like hanging out at 10 in the morning with low humidity, and the temp around 68, just perfect...
then my soon the heavy metal rocker said I sounded sick, and not the good kind... my wife said the same thing (she's into Goth). so I stated listening the strong heavy Goth, and I think now I should like a cat being killed by a screeching vulture...
so now I must restart my whole learning technical, and its not easy ,, still trying to get the sound of single tones and rhythm.
Walter Horton sound great and his hands fast, enjoyed it. I have list I'm building of good blues players. since I'm new to all this I'm not sure who is who. there are sound that just move me.
