This is my favorite live recording ever!! King Curtis rocks and the other
Dupree guitarist (first name eludes me) is also great. A old English blues
man Victor Brox once told me that Champion Jack had pretty much railroaded
Aretha Franklin's band into playing with him on the festival session and
Aretha was none too happy about it. But the result was pure magic.
Unfortunately the youtube of one of the songs from this session is no longer
available. It's a shame that King Curtis was a better sax player than Harp
player. Imagine what he could have done with harp. People have talked about
the harp having an inner Horn but I think it has an inner Horn Section.

Thanks Chris Canning
