I agree 100%!  I learnt to play harmonica using  just "pucker" or "lip 
block"..
 
Then I learnt about Tongue Block... From Harp-L (About a dozen years  ago).
 
I now use BOTH "styles"...
 
It has VASTLY improved my playing which was pretty good in the first  place!
