I change embouchure depending on what I want to do. For acoustic playing I
almost always pucker. For hard rock, I tongue block--it makes me slow down
and concentrate on the rhythm--also makes it easier to switch back and forth
from single notes to octaves. I started out puckering, so any song I learned
from that time period, I pucker. Any time I want to play fast improv rock I
pucker.
