I would think that Kim uses both, but predominantly tongues blocks. He  
uses lipping (pucker) when and where he deems it necessary.
As do Gary Smith, Mark Hummel, Jerry Portnoy, David Barrett and I  
suspect that Rick Estrin does the same.
As did I would presume both Walters, Both Sonny Boys, George Smith,  
etc, etc.
