[Harp-L] Re: Creating a Solo Act
Hey Mark,
Checked out your stuff and it sounds pretty cool. It's a shame that the other cats in your area are so messed up to not take advantage of your good talent. You're a great player with excellent musical ideas. We only met once at the jam camp down in Charlotte when I came to teach and bring my band. You sounded good then, but having listened to your stuff lately.............you ain't kiddin' around.
I happened to do a duo gig a couple of weeks ago at a high end restaurant and the guitar player had a Loop Station and had programmed a few things in. It really made the difference making the gig more fun.
He also engaged the unit on the fly as we played. It gave us more room to maneuver through the groove. It was the first time I had seen one of those units and I was pretty impressed with it's capabilities.
Keep on doin' what you're doin', brother. Sounds good.
