btw, the keyboard player that moved over from Organ to Piano was the late great Paul Griffin...
to me Paul's best work can be defined on Paul Simon's song TENDERNESS amazingly soulful pianist....those were the days! back in NYC in the 60's!

Well, the fates play interesting tricks. Al Kooper was in the studio when
Dylan was recording "Like a Rolling Stone". He was asked if he could play the
organ - being young, dumb and full of confidence, he said "Sure", when he
really didn't know much about organ, but had a little keyboard influence. The
result of his pedestrian noodling around became that signature organ riff that is
totally identified with this tune.
