The Pignose 7-100 is a pretty good practice amp,but what I found out is that when you hook-up an equalizer to one the sound improves impressively.I used a DOD FX 40 B .It  sounds good enough to pull out of a back pack and start playin anywhere. Later Ron A.K.A. Mr Easy
