RE: [Harp-L] New Springsteen Recording

Yeah it was her...
But The Boss... I guess.. Back when he was more firmly in management...
Could at least hit single notes (The River) do a soulful Dylanesque wail
(The price You Pay, The Promised Land) but I have to agree that now... Some
formerly significant faculty just isn't there.
We won't even say what my second ex-wife told me the other day about her
impressions of Springsteen's latest. She is after all, my ex now... But it
made me hope that if I get to a certain place... And things just aren't
sounding right..., I'll take up the cow-bell... Or become a frustrated music
critic... Or something...

The other, however, called Good Eye, had terrible harmonica from beginning

rock record, like a child who was never going to get any good.

If a guitar player with that level of skill tried to get work on a Bruce
Springsteen record, he'd be told to come back in 5 years.

Believe it or not, sometimes this is the sound that the producer/artist is
looking for. In some cases, it is a color added to the music and has no
relationship to good harmonica playing.

Was it Alannis Morisette that had that g-d AWFUL harmonica on one of her
songs?
