Please help me, I inherited this gigantic harmonica from an elderly German family member. I don't know if I should add it to my antiquities insurance and if so for what value.
I believe it to be from the 1920's . 40 reed rosewood with 2 Serpents head to head on either end in a Gold carved leaf.
It says "Johann Schunk Germany with Castle trademark "G" "PHOENIX" JOHANN SCHUNK GERMANY on one side
All the same on the other side but the letter "C"
I beleive the condition to be excellent ~ it has been in a pouch and looks like it may have been used very little.
9 5/8 " inches long x 2.75" inches wide
Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
K.G.
