RE: [Harp-L] Suzuki Fabulous Harmonicas

Hi Frank, now that you mentioned I'm a little confused here. If I would like
a harp for doing overblow , what do you recommend?I get lost with Suzuki
firebreath, Suzuki valved(what are the valves for?for doing overblows??)And
what about the hohner xb40???
On the other hand, regarding to custom harps what do you recommend and are
they too expensive?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Wadi

Bending is a as much a snap (or probably no snap at all) on every
quality harp , you don't need to spend that much money on it.

Overblowing is never a snap, you gotta learn it, the harp will not do
that for you. However overblowing might be relativly(!) easy on the
Fabulous - still it's a challenging technique.

The Suzuki Firebreath or the Suzuki Overdrive are stock harmonicas
that will overblow very good, too. For far less bucks!! Even if you
are willing to spend that much money on a harmonica you can get a
very decent custom harp set up for overblows, perfectly tuned,
prepared to last exceptionally long and more goodies for less than
you have to spend on a Fabulous.

I havn't tried one yet, but i doubt, that it will be better than a
decent custom harmonica, so if you want exceptional quality, then i'd
advice you to get a custom.
