Biggest ghost note I ever heard was Corky Siegel's intro to the live "Hush
Hush" - amplified harmonica, inhale holes 2 and 3 with hole 2 inhale bent to
the floor and slow released. It creates a massive low ghost note that descends
down an octave and lands on the tonic.
Then there is that legendary debatable ghost note at the beginning of Little
Walter's Juke - some say it is created by crappy electronics in the amp,
some say he is playing a high octave to create the note. Don't get this list
started on this one again, though.
