Daniel,

	Another way to vary the tonal response:  You are presently playing a  
low impedance mic into the XLR input of your keyboard amp.  If you  
get a transformer (which are inexpensive) you can go into the 1/4"  
high impedance input of the amp which will sound different.  Not  
necessarily better or worse, but different.  Try it, you may like it.
