I also saw them at the Raven Gallery in the mid-1970's, and concur that
there was little banter between them. After the show, we were lucky
enough to chat with Sonny, and get his "autograph." He got out a stamp
and stamp pad, and stamped his name on our program. Sonny Terry was my
strongest influence in the early days, and I still listen to the old
vinyls I have of him and Brownie.
