[Harp-L] Marine Band Reed Plate Screws

I am re-building a vintage Marine Band 365.  I want to convert it from nails
to screws to secure the reed plates.  What size screws should I use and does
anyone have any ideas about where to find them? 

 

Also, I will be using a new comb.  Any suggestions about how to make sure
that the reed plates line up properly since there will be no old nail holes
to go by? 

 

Also, I think I want to have the covers re-plated as well.  I was thinking
about just taking them to the local plating shop and having them chrome
plated.  Would anyone care to share their experience about re-plating
covers?
