I see Steve Merola cites "Billy Lightcap" as one of his influences. Indeed, listening to Steve and Billy, there is a striking likeness in their playing, notwithstanding the clear Stevie W.  influence in both cases. I like the playing of both these blokes.

Has anyone gone to Google maps and examined an aerial closeup of tiny, remote, god-forsaken-looking Mars, California?
