In addition to holding the official world record for speed, it appears from the CD clips on CDBaby that Nicky Shane can actually play:

But he seems to be addicted to painful-to-hear weed whacking, as evidenced in his Youtube clips.

Perhaps a new record could be captured by someone with the ability to play fast while making actual music on the harmonica.
