I've had a fair number of students that played for lung help, especially at
Shepherd's Spinal Center, but one of the things that is such a strong point
of that Yahoo News video is that the patients are making progress,
regardless of how well they are playing!
Lots of folks would like the benefits of playing the harmonica, but don't do
it because they just think they "can't" or they "aren't musical", so to have
a therapist saying: "Play this and you will get better, no matter what" -
now that is very powerful.
