Jon, hard to go wrong with any of Brian Purdy's creations, the Double  
Trouble sounds just fine!  As I do with microphones, I encourage players to  
experiment with as many 'flavors' as you can.  That said, if those  opportunities 
aren't there for you I think you'd be pleased with  the tone & quality, and also 
with the man who builds  them.
