[Harp-L] BBE Two-Timer

Hey Now!

I just wanted to put my two-cents in regarding the BBE Two-Timer, analog-delay pedal. It is supposed to be a replica of the Boss DM-2 ... never played one, never heard one live!
I really like the way it sounds through my Harp Commander lll ! I had been using an Ibanez AD-9, and it finally bit the big one, so I got the BBE unit. It is built like a tank and has two switcheable settings for selecting between a short, "slapback" setting; or a decent long throw for whales in space, and all that chazerai! It would behoove you, however, to change the input impedance to 5k-ohm (a' la Ron Holmes and Randy Wolf!), if you are using this WITHOUT an effect-loop and plugging a mic right into the thing. Remember; this (like most gear) is made for GUITARS!
I would be curious to hear how well it stacks up to the original Boss DM-2 and how it compares with the Lone Wolf delay! It is a LOT more useful onstage than the Ibanez was; I can have CONSISTENCY that was lacking before, when switching between tempos within a song, or within a set-list! I heartily endorse this pedal ... at least over the Ibanez!
