In my experience, the most dangerous thing about Christmas crackers is when, 
ever so slightly sozzled you try to wear one of those silly plastic 
moustaches you get in them and do irreparable damage to your nose.

The jokes can be very painful too, this year mine was 'if you can make shoes 
of crocodile skin what can you make out of banana skins?  Answer - 
slippers' - ouch!
