Hello,
I have an Ampeg DM-2 that seems to work well with my HG2. Anybody have any
longer term wotking experience with this Delay?

I settle for an Alesis Midiverb III but really my favourite delay is my
Echoplex. Intrigued by the Wampler faux tape echo I gave it a listen. You
can give one a listen here,

It's nice enough and I was somewhat intrigued until I went to the Fulltone
site and listened to theirs. Night and day. The Wampler sounds faux. It's
pretty good but it's not tape. Listening to the Fulltone I was just
smiling. It has all of the same sounds and nuances that my tired Echoplex
does. I guess I'll drag it out of the closet and stick it in a box and send
it up to Tempe for a rebuild. The downside of tape is besides being a
complete and ongoing maintenance nightmare tape is no longer being
manufactured. I have heard a rumour about a couple of new companies getting
into this business but last I heard what's out there is it. Here is the
Fulltone link,

It would be fun to spend some time with either version of the Wampler
delays. Nobody stocks them here but I'll keep my eye out. fjm
