This has been beat to death more than once.
That said, I have had some serious breakthroughs playing while driving- and
I am not talking about guardrails. On a long drive with little traffic, I
will rack it and play for a long time. It puts me in a trance-like state.
Not unconscious- more like hyper-concious. I think I drive BETTER while
playing. I would not rack up while driving in town, though. Too many idiots
to worry about.
