The Shawshank Redemption: Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) gives a harmonica to Red Redding (Morgan Freeman) as a present, when they were both convicts in Shawshank State Prison. The harp is never played, but one night the movie shows 'Red' in his jail, as he is about to play it.

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince: One of young Voldemort's possessions is a harmonica. It is just a glimpse, when the young Tom Riddle is shown in his room at the orphanage, while Dumbledore visits him.
