Re: [Harp-L] Woman Chromatic Harmonica players

IN addition to Maria Wolfsberger (Austria, mostly classical) and Hermine Deurloo (Holland, jazz), you might check out Susan Rosenberg (New York), who plays mostly classical.

Artists who play chromatic some of the time include blues tone monster Annie Raines (Boston, mostly blues diatonic) and Karen Mantler (New York) who sings and plays keyboards but also some nice chromatic here and there.

At the SPAH harmonica festival in Sacramento this August, we'll be featuring Annaliese "Sissi" Jones (Virginia) playing classical on chromatic. She's best known as Hohner's long-time wonderful repair tech, but sh'es also a very fine harmonica player.

At SPAH, we'll also be featuring Christelle Berthon (France) who, while I've never heard her play chromatic, is a very versatile player of diatonic harmonica, as shown in her many Youtube videos.

chromatic harmonica players?
Thanks,
Megan
