We had a discussion some weeks ago about full or partial covers on harps ,
and the views were polarized between two extremes.
One statement was that the cover is "only present to protect the reeds from
fingers and lips".
So I decided to find out, in as impartial manner as possible.
I have just documented the findings on FaceBook (Notes), in four articles,
and can confirm that the cover presence and conformation has a significant
effect on the sound emitted by a harmonica.
But we knew that all the time, didn't we?

The findings are in reverse order. Enjoy.
