The FCC sold a block of frequencies basicly 660 mhz - 860 mhz to Cable TV and Phone companies. This means these will basicly become not available. Once these companies dump their load on them about 6/12/09 the rigs will be a mess.  Just about every wireless rig sits in that range. SHURE .COM has some info but its deep in the training area. When you buy one of them there is a FCC registration card for that unit, I am sure all owners have sent them in. Madison Square Garden in NYC NY spent 2 million on a curtain if you will to allow thier existing wireless rigs to work.  Check the ranges since those who have stock will sell them weather they work or not. Some thing to keep in mind.
