Re: [Harp-L] Harmonica World Demographics - The Impact of the Harmonica

Dear Harp-lers,
This is most certainly not a joke. Todd is one of the makers of
Pocket Full of Soul, The Harmonica Documentary. I recently saw the 45
minute preview in Houston and it is incredibly well done and I spoke
with non harp players who loved it.

However, what I think Todd is implying in his email is that they need
a moneyman to back their project and distribute it. This moneyman
doesn't yet believe that enough of the general public would be
interested enough in the harmonica to go see the movie and and least
make SOME of his money back.

With these questions, Todd is collecting data to show the moneyman and
say, "See? A harmonica movie can sell, because harmonica in general
has always sold."

Todd, I am not the historian of the group. But I wish you well
collecting this data and ultimately finding the backer to get this
great movie distributed. HArp-l historians, help Todd out please.
