You are only a hacker in a relative relationship to a real or imaginary source that is perceived by you or others as better then you or it... thus you can be real good at something yet be a mere hacker to both the objective and subjective observer literally at different moments in time. Being a hack is about embracing the knowledge that you are at the same time (but only in a perpetual sense) the best in the entire world, yet realizing that the entire world is BIGGER then your perception of its-for lack of a better word COINCIDENTAL CONCEPTION. In other words- The relatively new HOT band "Coldplay" is considered  a Phenomenal band...But in regards to many other bands U-2 - The Stones (to name a few) they still have hacker credentials. Does that statement belittle them, are they RESPECTED... yes, but not because they're GOOD- But because they handle their HACKERNESSISM with dignity. - whose the better singer, the better guitarist, drummer, etc. does it really matter No - if it did these bands would self destruct ( most sadly do)...Which brings me back to my first point- Will the original hackman please stand up - please stand up - please stand up....
