Re: [Harp-L] Editing a DVD for Youtube

If you've got Windows Movie Maker on the PC already, mine did, you're set. Just type in movie maker on the search bar in the star bar search box. You might have to convert the files into something movie maker recognizes, you can get a free trial of prism video converter to take care of that job.

Subject: [Harp-L] Editing a DVD for Youtube

I got a copy of a gig of mine on a DVD.  There is only one 45min
"scene" and I would like to edit the DVD on my computer.  My goal is to
come up with some short, individual highlights of my playing.  My hope
is to put them on Youtube and my Myspace page.

Is there an easy way to do this without buying software?  I have access to a brand new Mac and a PC.

Thanks!
