Dan RidgeWAY almost won it, it was really close. Jason and I really liked
what he was doing, technique was amazing. I mean amazing. Bob, however,
was smooth as buttermilk, changing between diatonic and chromatic
seamlessly and Bob was polished, I mean polished. I'd never heard Dan
before, I kept hearing Jason Ricci in his playing. As Dan RidgeWAY
develops, he's gonna be something. Maybe another W.Va. Bob.... ;)

Dan Ridgeway is a good player. Jason Ricci frantically called me
about a year ago. "Have you ever heard of Dan Ridgeway? He's really
****ing good. You gotta hear this kid."
Yep, he's good.
Mr Gage, thank you for reminding me of him again and thank you for
bringing his name to the list. Definitely a player to watch for the
future.

Any chance the second place winner was Dan Ridgeway, not Ridgewell?
Ridgeway, (who is frighteningly good on harmonica) just moved to MA,
and said something about driving down to WVa. Seems like too much to
be a coincidence.
You can see Dan Ridgeway on youtube, by the way. His stuff is pretty
fantastic. He's so talented, that I've insisted on calling him
"Harmonica Dan" since I met him.
