Re: [Harp-L] how do you set the kinder afb?
My usual setting is 1 o'clock position on all 3 knobs. This is what I have
used with a Shure sm-57 and a JT-30 with a black CR element. When setting it
up last week I couldn't get it to work correctly until I saw that I was
going into a delay pedal before the afb. You need to go directly from the
mic to the afb with no pedals in between and put whatever effect pedals
between the afb and the amp. You can go wireless and have the wireless unit
before the afb but nothing else. Remember you are eliminating the
frequencies that are produced by the mic that cause feedback. If you are
still getting feedback turn the outer 2 knobs clockwise till it is gone. If
you have the paperwork that comes with it dial it in as per the
instructions. If you don't contact me and I will either fax or mail them to
you.
