Yeah. So if 'BaiÃo'm and 'Bosco stomp/Cajun Stripper' are that close,
then I suspect that the tune 'travelled', or there is a common ancestral
tune that both these cultures (Brazillian and Cajun) inherited it from.
The Carribean connection I suspect; I wouldn't be surprised to find
something similar in the islands too.
