[Harp-L] Semi-custom harps?

This recent thread on the varying stages of "custom" harps got me thinking... I know a large number of Harp-L'ers know how to work on their own harps, but what about the fairly new players who would like to have a little better harp, but realize their abilities haven't yet reached the $150 and up custom varieties.
Does anyone think it would fulfill a need if someone (like myself) were to just take a standard out-of-the-box harp and gap it, get the reeds down in the slot better, maybe mess with the curvature of the reed a little, open the back, maybe emboss a little if needed, etc.? and do this for a very reasonable price?
Now that I'm retired, I'm wondering if that would generate a small amount of income for me (so I can buy more harps) and provide a service for those who would like to play a harp that's better than out-of-box, but not the full monty. You know, maybe like driving a nice new Chevy until you can afford the Cadillac?
I'm no great harp-builder and not into tuning harps. I mess with my own to get them to play like I want them to. I can set them for overblows, but that doesn't work with my style of playing. I spend a couple of hours, or a little more, depending on how the harp arrives, to get my own in playing shape.
Would that be worth about double the price of a Special 20 (my harp choice)? Maybe $60 total, plus the cost of shipping?
Anyone interested, just drop a note offline. I'm not looking to do this a lot, but a few harps a week would work out for me. I know there are lots of you out there who can do this better than me, but I do have some time these days.
