Hi Dave,
I like your style and think you are off to a great start on chrom.
My advice is to spend more (or most) of your time on exercises and scales. 
Learn scales important to you and your music, and even stuff that is not.
Use a metronome, work with dynamics, (soft to loud, etc.).

You'll learn to expertly play all the notes.
