Go green with the East Bay's newest musical trio, Awed Ducks, featuring Peter Sproul on harmonica, when they
perform Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Native Plant Fair of the East Bay
Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.
The plant fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Native Here Nursery, 101 Golf Course Drive, Tilden Park, Berkeley. The nursery is across the road from the golf course.
Music
will start at 11 a.m. Saturday with Jim Brunelle on bass and vocals,
Sproul on harmonicas and Bob Loomis on flutes, autoharp and
guitar.
Two-thirds of Awed Duck, Brunelle and Loomis, will also
play for the plant fair on Sunday, Oct. 19. Music will start at about
12:30 p.m.
The plant fair will offer thousands of of locally native plants and bulbs, hundreds of California natives from the horticultural trade,
discounted books and posters, a CD of East Bay Native Plants, a silent auction, and arts and crafts for sale.
Hope to see you there!
Bob Loomis
