Re: [Harp-L] What video format to use?
Once you've lost the quality, you can't get it back. You'd have to do it again from the original DVD, but don't.
I checked it out, I'm gonna post a link to it, cause the it is very good and people should see it.

I actually laughed out loud, not that lol bs, I actually laughed pretty good at the end. That was as surprise an ending for me as it was for you.I'd like to hear the background story on that one. I'd also like to hear the background story behind that Beatles submariner hat you are wearing
Now in checking it out, there is nothing wrong with the quality. It views well even in full screen. 306 is a lot of anything, especially megabytes. 60 is about right for the video length you've got. RIght now, it's just about right for West Virginia High-Speed Internet on the Sunshine Pipeline. I would leave it alone... If that file gets any bigger, poor Everyman Smokey Joe is gonna be waiting 20 years to download it instead of a mere six months.
Youtube automatically downgrades the quality, too, that's why it takes about 20 years after you upload before it posts, time to "process." There used to be a link for "Watch in High Quality" now that I'm looking for it this morning, I can't find it.

Subject: [Harp-L] What video format to use?
Well, I finally uploaded a video to YouTube. For what it's worth, it's under Blind Dog Willie. My question is,
I originally only had a DVD of it. Excellent picture quality. But when somebody encoded it for me so I could upload it, they compressed the beejeebus out of it ( divx ). Now it does'nt look very good. What program/software could I use to make it DVD quaility? The size of the song originally was 306MB.
Thanks for any and all help! Brian
