Okay, so I get it that Harp-L isn't affiliated with SPAAH any more. And I
understand that posting instructional material on this list is too much
work. But that wasn't really what I was asking for; I'm not interested in
getting harp tweaking tips from customizations guys - they are more than
welcome to their secrets. What wanted was just a list of their links so I
could survey what is out there, and maybe a more uniform way of describing
what they do to the harps so I could 'shop', as it were. And the ravings of
some people over the work some these craftsman do is useless to me if their
services are not available. I know Filesko is up there somewhere on Mout
Olympus doing amazing harps but of what use is it to me when I sure as hell
can't get one?
As far as Rupert's videos go, I already have them, and a very good tool kit
assembled over the past 6 years. Some of his stuff is great if you have
hours and hours to do this stuff. I don't have hours and hours to
repeatedly assemble and disassemble one harp trying to get it to do what I
want. So I'm interested in buying the harp instead. Craig Gaylor did a
pretty nice C Marine Band for me. Maybe I aught to just go back to him - in
fact maybe the way to go about this is to just find a guy and work with this
one guy so he knows what I want. I'd just like to have more options. I want
somebody who'll work on the Seydel platform as opposed to the Marin Bands.
Okay, I'll stop whining now.
