The Crate V18 is a EL84 x 2 tube amp with reverb that sounds rather good for
hamonica and is on sale for $150 shipped at some web music stores. The link
below leads to an audio clip I made using a CM element mic straight in to a
completely stock amp. Don't know durability or reliability.
