[Harp-L] Drift Away live on Youtube
Hey Gang of Windwalker :
I have several ( 4 total ) of myself live onstage unplugged with :
Eric Burdon on vocal ( The Animals & WAR )
Cesar Rosas? acoustic steel string guitar ( Los Lobos )
Mark Guerrero electric guitar ( Good Buddy of mine and a really great guitar player )
& Myself blowing acoustic harp and on the last of the series of 4 videos I play into a wireless bullet mic set up into the P. A .
The songs are :
See See Rider
House Of The Rising Sun
Oh Lord Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood
And
Drift Away .
The event :
At Fantasy Springs Indian Casino .
The Reason ?
To raise money for the surviving children of the Oklahoma bombing tragedy ( We raised $15,000.00 )
The night was star studded . In the last video the entire cast of musicians & comedians turned out on stage to the tune of Give Me The Beat Boys by Dobie Gray .
Some of the members here in the forum have the audio of the first three videos ( it's far better than the youtube audio ) of that night .
To those who have them :
If you feel like sharing these with others it is cool to do now and thanks for not letting them out till I said it was cool to do so . All of you are super cool for keeping them under wrap? till I was able to say so and share .
I'm recovering pretty good from my auto wreck ? , it dented me , bent me about , but it did not break me ! I just move a tad slower when I walk? , thank God it did not affect my harp or guitar playing !

Mark Guerrero is quite a remarkable man his roots are really deep in things music . If you check out his web site you will learn a whole lotta stuff about the music scene and then some . I am privileged and honored to know him and his famous ( deceased ) and distinguished father " Lalo Guerrero " the ultimate Pachuco* heh heh .
* Pachuco :
Were the bad boys of Los Angeles? in the pre & post WW2? , they were the original Zoot Zooters . In my book they were awesome .
