Ken, I tried it but only could slow down with an equivalent dropping in musical pitch, as in, one octave lower for a half-speed listening, using the "add new time track" approach. Am I missing something?
Ken Hildebrand <airmojoken@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Audacity is great for not only listening to slow down
music in pitch, but also for creating files of the
slowed down music, usually just small sections of a
song. Sometimes I will create a new song by changing
a song to a different key.
I then add them to my iTunes music library with a
special grouping name like "Harmonica Exercises", and
I use the Smart playlist feature to keep them from
being added to my normal playlists of songs.
Audacity is a great tool and so is the iPod !
