[Harp-L] Replacement reed plates vs replacing reeds

Bushman, Hering, Hohner and Suzuki all sell replacement reed plates for at
least some of their harmonicas.
Single plates available on at least the Bushman at around $9. Full plate
sets from $12 to $23 bucks for the various manufacturers.
Balance this cost vs the time/cost to replace single reeds on a plate set on
which the rest of the reeds may be fatigued.
And you can get a harp up and running in a fraction of the time.
To be clear, I am not knocking custom work. No stock harp matches a
custom/customized harp, period.
I just think a great option to have available.
