I'm so sorry if it seemed like I was commenting on you--I wasn't.   
Rather I was talking about the Adam Gussow's article and what lies  
beyond the most excellent level of advanced-intermediate/"I'm happy to  
be where I am in my playing."  Music isn't a sport with scores.  You  
can and do make music.  You are in an enviable position. :-)
