Reminds me of when Davy Crockett was a young man exploring Alabama
with his neighbors, caught malaria, neighbors thought he had died
left him along the road, but he nursed himself back to health and
walked back to Tennessee. On his way back, folks kept coming up to
him and saying that he was was supposed to be dead. Crockett
quipped, "I know'd it was a whopper of a lie the very first time I
heard it." ;)
I think PT has graciously bestowed some Bill Monroe/harp stories on
the list before, a search of the archives might be of interest to some.

Subject: [Harp-L] identity confusion
Boston Mojo wrote "I recall Michael Rubin from Nashville told a story..."
PT Gazell corrected him by saying,"
"Actually that was me..."
I have been confused with far worse than PT Gazell and I am
honored by the confusion. By the way, I live in Austin.
