Producer Arif Mardin had me come in on Chaka Khan's first solo CD  
called "Best of the West."  Had I known that it was funk, not a  
country tune, I probably would not have taken the date.  First I put  
down a jaw harp solo and then Arif asked me to play a solo like  
Stevie Wonder.  I said, "you've got to be kidding me!"  Why don't you  
hire Stevie?"

So the next CD she did he hired Stevie - I Feel For You
