Not much you can do about the output of the mic other than replacing
elements.  You need some more gain somewhere.
What preamp tube are you using in the amp?  Try 12AX7 (higher gain)
tube if not already installed.
You could try running the biscuit mic into an external preamp to get
more gain and more crunch.
