[Harp-L] Dave Wren (AKA: Technobird) element testing mic shell. Was:Great mic

I have also had been happy with Dave Wren.
I wanted a mic shell that I could use to test elelements in. Dave outfit two
leads in one of his mics with alligator clips and now I simply connect the
clips to the mic leads, drop the element into the shell, and blow. I use a
small section of bicyle inner tube as a temproray element gasket. I've
done to test four elements in a row and it only took seconds to swap out the
elements. It's nice to get an idea of how an element will sound in a bullet
without the hassle of soldering each time.
